Brittany Benita: Actor

For as long as I can remember, I have been a performer, an entertainer, a storyteller.

I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam. I can recall my grandpa calling me "Shirley Temple" because of my bouncy curls and my affinity for tap dancing and singing everywhere I roamed. I would imagine and write stories— absurd and fanciful and mysterious. I became a ballet dancer at the age of three and made the transition into stage acting in high school. It was then I discovered that my love for story and performing could be fulfilled through the characters I could become, through the lives I could portray.

And I knew it was what I wanted my life to be.

I moved to Los Angeles for university, and after graduating, I furthered my acting training and began pursuing acting as my career. I've worked on a number of shorts, and...

...I'm excited to share that I starred in my first indie feature film that is currently making its rounds on the festival circuit!

For me, acting is fulfilling and what I intend to do with the rest of my life. I can't imagine doing anything else.
